Here Goes...

Where to begin? Getting started is going to be the death of me and this blog.  I have procrastinated this first post for days now, telling myself that I need to focus first on the "look" of my blog.  The reality is I simply do not know what to say.

In August I'll start my 15th year of teaching. (Wow!  That makes me feel old!)  I have spent the majority of those years teaching 4th grade, although I did loop 3rd/4th grade for a while, too.  Last year was a unique challenge for me, as I was approached to teach a 3/4 split class.  I accepted the challenge and had the most Ah-ma-zing year ever!  It looks like next year I will once again teach a 3/4 split class.

I love, love, love Pinterest and have really gotten into following (stalking) a few teacher blogs.  I guess that's what has inspired me to enter the blogging world with my own teaching ideas.  Wish me luck!

    I found you on the Bloglovin' linky party. I'm your newest follower! I kind of teach a "split class"- Resource room English (grades 5-9). Since many of my students lack grade level skills, I often follow 3/4 grade blogs. Now I'm looking forward to your posts, Heather
